* Shown here, is my developmental process i did on Google sketchup, i first started off with the chair model, making sure i have the right curvature i was aiming for. Next step was the development of the arm rests, i started off with one and just copy and pasted to the other side of the lounge design. After looking at it, i thought that there was somethig missing, therefore i added the half-circle cushioning onto the chair, which adds more characteristic features to my final design.

Concepts

* After research different types of outdoor chairs, i decided to choose a sunbed. These are the concepts i came up with, with interesting curvature and shapes, i discovered how different sunbeds can be designed.

* First thought was that i wanted to include a sunshade with the bed, but after researching, i thought that it would be more convenient if there was no sunshade included, therefore i chose a final concept with arm rests, a range of curvature on the chair, further development will be produced to improve my final design.

RESEARCH

> This is one of the designs that really struck my eye, the 'rolled' pillows all across the seat gives a modern vibe, and really makes the overall design funky and unique. The movement is a huge advantage to the users, it is user-friendly and appropriate for a large range of a target audience.
